What to discuss?
Post your ideas below.
Recent books I read and enjoyed include:
Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach (amazon link)
Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson (amazon link)
Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko (amazon link)
'
Notes from a Liar and Her Dog by Choldenko (amazon link)
Granny Torrelli Makes Soup by Sharon Creech (amazon link)
These were all pretty good... but I am open to discussing and reading something different, so post below what you want to start with!

I'm reading gooney bird greene (lois lowry)...because I'm behind in the librarian world. it doesn't look like giant discussion material. but seems like a compelling read. plus my old eyes love the big print.
but anyway let's talk about something bigger? I don't think this will work unless you declare what book is being discussed. pick a new one you're about to read. declare it! simple one sentence post--and a post back to the listservy! I love librarians read!!
Hello, now that the school year is in full swing, I am struggling to find time to read for recreation (except my email). However, I did read something REALLY funny back in August...Bill Bryson's "I'm a Stranger Here Myself".
