I agree. Have you started it? I started a few days ago and I have only a few pages left. What a good pick!
I can see this working really well in a library read-aloud time with 4th, 5th, and even 6th graders (even though Leon is in fourth grade, I think older elementary kids would probably fall for his sense of humor and anti-teacher antics)--reading a chapter out loud, and then leaving off and letting students pick their books for the week.
I love this book.
I'm going to read the chip champion next.
Wouldn't it be funny to make your class make the sewing projects described in the book? That would be excellent.
